Those crazy days of toddlerhood

Now that Adrian is acting more like a toddler (crazy) I decided to blog again to keep myself sane, and make sure I have a record of behavior I can use for guilt trips later on.  I'm not even going to try to catch up with the past few months.  I'll do a post about the house though.

There are some random recent pictures for you.

Matt made mashed potatoes from a box yesterday and put some garlic in them but they were too strong for me and Matt didn't taste anything.  Adrian was too busy complaining about his meat being cut up to even think about touching his potatoes. Instead he decided to force feed them to Matt. He tried to get Matt to open up, and then he licked the potatoes and said "MMM" so Matt would see how good they are.  Alas, it didn't work.

Today he decided to freak the hell out because his meat was cut up again.  He wants to eat from our plates instead.  I told him no one likes having food taken from their plate, especially one day when you go on a date.  That's a deal breaker.

Other than the occasional fit things are going pretty well.  He isn't talking a whole lot, he prefers to grunt and point and use one or two word sentences at the moment.  His doctor isn't worried so far so I'm just trying to ask him questions and get him to talk.  He has been saying more words lately.  Mostly I think he is just stubborn, like me, and will speak when he damn well pleases.

He is still very loving and likes to cuddle and give kisses.  He's friendly and likes to say hi and bye to strangers.  He keeps licking everything, I don't know where that came from. He likes being physically active all day, I try to sit and do educational activities with him but he would rather wrestle or go outside and pick up sticks.  He loves technology, he figured out how to use phones and tablets really fast. He's a clown, he likes to make people laugh.  He loves water, animals, spongebob, and Frozen.

I'm going to sign him up to start preschool in September.  I can't believe he's closer to 3 than 2.  My baby is growing up!
