Flash mob, awkward high school flashbacks and a milestone

A couple nights ago Adrian wouldn't stop crying for an hour and nothing was working to calm him down.  I figured he was overtired.  So I decided we could drive around the neighborhood to help him fall asleep. I put him in the carseat, grabbed my keys and shoes from another room, and when I came back he was asleep.  Good to know!

Yesterday we went to Joey and Erin's wedding.  Matt was the best man, so Adrian and I went separately.  Adrian fell asleep in the car but woke up in the church after I sneezed for the second time. He made it through most of the ceremony but we had to leave after the vows.  We rode the trolley with the wedding party and he slept through all the shouting, laughter, and shenanagins made by 20 hyper drunk adults.  They took some pictures at the Joslyn Art Museum but another wedding party showed up that had booked it, so we had to leave.  I stood by myself at the cocktail hour (well, with Adrian but he isn't a great conversationalist yet) and waited to get seated.

First trolley ride (horrible lighting)

When Matt's in a wedding and I don't know anyone else I feel like I'm in the high school cafeteria again, looking for someone to sit with.  I'm better at conversing with new people than I was back then, but I'm still pretty awkward. Thankfully two really nice couples and an usher sat with me and it was fun talking to them.  I got several compliments on Adrian and how little, cute and precious he is.  There's nothing like a little baby to start a conversation.  I did have one chick that acted shocked that he was 7 weeks old, so little and not a preemie   She looked at me like I had two heads.  My mom thinks I'm too sensitive, but that woman was rude.

We had a nice dinner and Matt gave a great speech.  The DJ was really good,  there were a lot of people on the dance floor.  After a few dances the song "Forever" by Chris Brown came on and all these people started dancing a synchronized dance.  It was a flash mob!  What an awesome surprise for a wedding!  The couples family and friends did it for them as a surprise, it was one of my favorite parts.  It was a beautiful wedding and Adrian was a trooper.  We left when he had enough and stayed the night at the hotel.

Today Matt's parents came over for a little bit and Robert had gotten Virginia Tech gear for the baby.  He got a jersey, two onesies and sweatpants.  He couldn't find anything smaller than 9 months and the jersey is 12 months.  So even though we wont have a one month picture, I want to take pictures of him in it every month and watch him grow.  It will be so cute.  Now he needs Cowboy gear and he will be all set.  Too bad Matt has to work during all of the football games :(

After they left we had some tummy time and Adrian rolled from his tummy to his back for the first time!  Then he cried.  It was an accident; I think the weight of his head may have catapulted him over.   here are some pictures:

Before (I had some fun with editing.  Also my camera was on the wrong setting, thus the slow capture)
During (he startled himself)

After.  Yes, I'm posting all three pictures.
Relishing in his accomplishments.  Or plotting his next move.  Both.

I've figured out how to upload videos!

This is ridiculously long, you could watch the whole thing if you want but you'll get the gist after 30 seconds or so.  I just love the faces he makes when he sleeps.

Also rather long.  This is from today.

those long and seemingly boring videos will be so much fun to watch when he's 3 and running around the house screaming :)

lol I'll be sitting here crying, watching them one day and he will say "MOM geeze, pull yourself together" Matt is playing "Border Lines" I believe. It has some funny commentary.
